Cameron Chisholm Nicol was established in Perth in 1884 and has operated continuously in Western Australia ever since, making it one of the oldest architectural practices in Australia. The firm is an integrated architecture, urban design and interior design studio working across residential and mixed use, workplace, sport and entertainment, hospitality, education, and health sectors. In 2013 the practice received the AIA Sir Zelman Cowen Award for Public Architecture, Australia's most prestigious architectural honour, for RAC Arena in joint venture with ARM, a project that also took the George Temple Poole WA State Award. Earlier work includes the Reid Library at UWA, awarded a RIBA Gold Medal in 1964.
