Hillam Architects was established in 1993 by David Hillam and has grown into one of Perth's most respected practices, working from a Subiaco studio across bespoke high-end residences, multi-residential and mixed-use developments, and commercial projects. The firm took the Marshall Clifton Award for Residential Architecture at the 2015 WA Architecture Awards, and has twice been recognised at the AIA National Architecture Awards. Experience gained working alongside developers has given the practice an unusually pragmatic approach to delivery, while the residential work remains known for balancing refined aesthetics with genuine liveability.
Over three decades of work, the Marshall Clifton Award, and two national AIA recognitions place Hillam among the most decorated established practices in Perth.
