Mata Design Studio is a multi-disciplinary practice working across interiors and building design, led by Paul Lim from a Perth CBD base. The studio took two categories at the DMN Building Design Awards, spanning Residential Rural and Non-Residential Interiors, with hospitality work including Bar Vino in Mount Lawley sitting alongside bespoke residential projects. The breadth is deliberate, allowing the studio to move between domestic and commercial briefs with a consistent material sensibility.
